Description
Lightwave consultants’ core
product suite encompasses value added data services, web services
including access, hosting, design and security plus local and long
distance voice services. Consultants drive value for their clients
by providing unbiased recommendations based on identified needs,
through delivery of best of breed technologies from top service
providers in all key market segments and through access to
aggressive pricing based on the leveraged buying power of a
multi-million dollar company.
Consultants
key job responsibilities include: performing audits covering an
organizations entire communications needs from local and long
distance to internet connectivity, outsourcing opportunities in
areas such as web hosting, collocation, and data storage, networking
needs for remote locations, network security concerns and assessment
of benefits from
moving to thin client solutions for suites of software products.
Based on the
communications audit the consultant analyzes the capability of
various service providers and their corresponding offerings to meet
the clients self identified needs. A consultant may bring in sales
and/or sales engineering support personnel from selected vendors to
refine objectives and specify design elements of the solution being
developed. Once the solution set has been completed, the consultant
will present multiple potential options to the client along with a
recommended course of action.
Lightwave
consultants have access to an unparalleled set of service providers
and their products. He or she can apply that set of products to a
wide universe of organizations from vertical market segments (CLEC’s,
ILEC’s, ISP’s, ASP’s, Carriers, Switched/Unswitched
resellers), to affinity groups and not for profit organizations to
any of a host of business organizations of all sizes in any state in
the US. In addition, Lightwave’s wholesale voice and bandwidth
services present opportunities to sell select products
internationally.
Clearly
the Lightwave consultant must be familiar with either the
telecommunications side of the business or the web services side and
must be able to quickly learn the balance of the product portfolio
to best serve the needs of our clients. Successful consultants are
highly entrepreneurial, self motivated and embrace the challenge of
building long term relationships with organizations to deliver
services which help to build competitive advantage for our clients.
All Lightwave consultants are highly experienced with 10+ years of
work history being the standard and have a demonstrated history of
achievement personally and professionally. In addition, they are
team oriented individuals capable of interacting well with all
levels of an organization, both internally and externally as befits
their role as change agents in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
Consultants must consistently demonstrate the highest levels of
personal integrity and character and must be willing to work in a
“boundaryless” fashion to help build Lightwave for the future.
